Carson has a particular passion for working with individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, OCD, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, phobias, and life-limiting patterns of avoidance. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), widely considered the gold standard treatment for OCD, alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), hypnosis, somatic awareness, and experiential approaches that support lasting nervous system flexibility and meaningful behavioral change.

Her approach is solution-oriented while remaining deeply compassionate. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, Carson helps clients develop greater psychological flexibility, self-trust, emotional resilience, and confidence in their ability to navigate uncertainty and life's inevitable challenges. Many clients find themselves not only feeling better, but relating differently to themselves and their lives.

Carson is a seasoned Ericksonian Hypnotist, a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She also has specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Medical Social Work in hospice care, grief counseling, and trauma-informed treatment. This diverse background allows her to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each client rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.  Her clinical experience includes working with:
